You can use PHM Pocket PC Power Toys. (http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/PowerToys/) It includes a tray launch app. Works well and it's free!

It's not possible. The PHM Traylaunch is also an always-running process. Icons on the tray are not stored in the registry but are dynamically displayed by running processes (like the BT Manager/Wi-Fi manager/Pocket Controller/ActiveSync).

You may also want to give this a try if you like system hacking / knowing how Windows Mobile works: kill the Traylaunch process while it's running. The icons will remain on the tray, but you won't be able to actually click them any more.

Incidentally, Traylaunch stores its shortcuts at [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PHM\TrayLaunch] in the Registry.

I only know of one regedit... Add BlueTooth Icon

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Widcomm\BtConfig\UserInterface

TrayIcon = dword:00000001
