Recently i have been having problmes with Pocket Informant, every once in wile it seems like all of the settings get reset so i loose all my catagory icons and coloring, and other settings. Has anyone else had this problem? or know of a solution? or how to back up the settings so that when/if it happens again i can easily restore it rather then have to set it all up again. Thank you.

Have you recently reinstalled or upgraded? This may have reset it.

The settings are stored in the settings.txt file, probably located in your my documents\webis folder on the pocket pc. The catagory icons are stored in the same location, within the my documents\webis\icons directory.

I usually copy the contents of the webis directory to my laptop, so I can copy them back if necessary. I've only seen the settings get overwritten in some cases when upgrading. I've never seen them get reset by themselves except for the 1 time when I accidently deleted the contents of the Webis folder....

Thanks i will do that. i have not been upgrading or reinstailling, it is intresting but has happened a few times in the last few weeks.

If you are running PI 2005 (rather than PI5) I also suggest you get the latest version- updated 2 days or so ago.
