I have a couple of questions

One. I would like to start from scratch on new desktop PC for pocket PC.

The outlook contacts/folders/etc. still reside on other desktop.
I guess my choices are:

create a partnership on old PC & reload outlook data to pocket PC

move all the outlook data (somehow) from old desktop to new.

Both PC's are running windows XP home edition

tried instructions for importing outlook data but found it very confusing.
I would choose the first option but activesync leaves the name of the synchronised folders in my files from past data losses.I cannot delete these no matter what I do.

Is there a thread about how to best do this?

seems latest Outlook with A/S3.7.1 makes the usage of the Pocket pc device a bit more stable.I would prefer to not create any data exchanges with old desktop..

thanks

Copy your Outlook Data Files from your old computer to your new computer. They are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook.

You could also just export everything to a .pst and import that .pst on the other machine.
