i just wanted to know if anyone has ever used a microdrive in their ipaq, i have a 2215 and was about to buy a card from newegg.com the company is Transcend

some questions arise, it is a spining disk, would their be audible interference if your watching a movie off of it, would it drain the power more that a normal cf card,

if anyone has experience using it, some feedback would be super sweet,

if is within acceptable limits i am so going to get one, thanks all

the link to it is

I would assume that this is a rebadged Magicstor drive. I use it with my 5500 w/CF Exp+, and the only problem I have is the power drain, the noise is barely noticeable. I've used this for about 6+ months, it was $230 when I got it. Videos play fine, but I've noticed that a large playlist of MP3's does take a while to load with WMP. I hope the 4 gig Microdrives perform better and hopefully use less juice.

Definitely better value than solid state flash memory (at those capacities).
