If i but a pcmcia adapter and a pcmcia wireless 802.11g card, will it work with an ipaq 5150. (do you know of any ppc 2003 compatable cf or pcmcia 802.11g cards?)

It **may** work...

but only if:

1) it is not a CARDBUS PC Card (these usually have a gold edge on them)

AND (and if #1 isn't a roadblock this will be...)

2) the card provider must provide a PPC or WM 2003 driver (not all manufacturers do.)

Hope this helps.

No it will not work. All "G" cards are CardBus cards, and no PocketPC supports CardBus. Best you can do is a 802.11b card, and many of these cards are now CardBus cards. Best bet is a CF card, but check for Windows Mobile 2003 Drivers.

802.11g WILL NOT work with ANY pocketpc's because all the cards require cardbus which the ppc doesn't support.

In short, don't ask about 802.11g cards for Pocket PCs, because they don't exist. You'll have to use 802.11b cards and run your AP in mixed-mode.
