Hello everyone,
Well just recently i bought a Compaq TC1000. Its a hybrid tablet pc and I am currently trying to get a Playstation emulator to work. ePSXe. Well I finally have everything in order and I came across a rom(of a game I own, so dont come and mess things up in this post mods....) and I am having trouble getting it to work.
The thing is, since these ISOs are so big, they come in different parts. In total it was 9 parts. 8 of those end with the following extension:
.c00
.c01
.c02
.c03
.c04
.c05
.c06
.c07
The final file is titled an ACE file and it ends with the extension
.ace
Can anyone help me in regards to what it is I am supposed to do with these files? I am completely lost.

Sounds like you need WinACE (www.winace.com) to unpack it.

IC so you own it yet resort to a pirated copy despite owning it.
Youre either lying abouth owning it or you like to waste houres downloading and burning and getting an Iso to work while you could just pop in an original CD into the emu and play like that.

How well does this emulator work? I used to use one but it doesn't work for Win2K & XP. It would be nice to use my games again.

Please dont reply if all you have to say is slander. I am truly offended by your remark. I will not degrade myself by answering in the fashion in which you replied to my post. But let me shine some insight... my copy of Xenogears got scratched(the first cd) PLUS.... since you seem to not know about the TC1000 by compaq, they dont have a cd drive of any sort. 8O So please keep your rude comments to yourself next time.
And Dean, it works great, even on my not so powerful Tablet(1GHz Transmeta Crusoe----about 700mhz P3, 16mb nvidia, 768 mb ram). I managed to get Xenogears working. And I am running XP Pro so you should have no problem. The emu is called ePSXe.

I still think a now defunct Virtual Game Station is the best PSX emulator on PC.
BTW, I like WinRAR over Winace. It is more streamlined, reliable, and supports most of well known formats including ace, zip, tar, cab, arj, lzh, UUE, and of course, rar.
