I was just thinking about a great idea to market Zunes and have people experience the "social" aspects of the platform.
Zune parties....
Here's the scenario:
Invitations are given away along with x amount of points to the Zune Market place. People would then select music from the Market Place, and come to the party where they're given a complimentary Zune. Download your music to your device, and mngle.
Of course the usual frills will be there, celebrities, food, drink (if its and adult party). Then people leave there with a free device, and going to have their friends buy so they can share with them. Then word of mouth is on its way.
Microsoft could do these roaming parties on an advertising circuit. Not just driving around in a bus showing people something and talking about theory of use.
Just a thought anyway. It sounds cool in theory.:D
