Have you ever heard of this before...and do you think it's true/useful info?

I run Ad Aware on a regular basis and are quite happy with that :-)

Is what true? All of the information on Cryptome, or something about spyware that you didn't summarize. :grumble: There is no mention of either "spyware" or "spy ware" on that page.

P.S. Please read Pony's Posting Proverbs (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11413) about putting important information only in the Subject line and mentioning what is being linked to.
I accessed this thread from the Recent Posts section on the home page and didn't pay attention to the subject (I read them all). It took a couple of minutes to figure out you were talking about spyware.

I suggest Spybot - Search and Destroy. It's just like Adaware, only completely free.

I'm sorry. I had a bit too little blood in my beer level last evening when I posted that. I was wondering if anyone had seen that site before, and how valid they thought the items on it were. The reference to spyware was supposed to be based on the idea that the stuff on the site is obtained by spies and insiders, not actual spyware.
However, the information you are giving me IS useful and is something I needed to find out about.
Again, my apologies. I usually try to fully comply with Pony's Posting Proverbs.

I second Spybot.
