Just curious as to what harware version of the Loox you all have. The newer one with the XSCALE/255/200MHz bus or the older 100MHz bus model. Anyone have both?....... just curious of the bios/system updates performed. And any other differences you have noted. 0X

My understanding is that the "new Loox" (the Loox 700) is not out yet.
the current version of the Loox 600 is pxa250 100mhz bus 400mhz xscale
see speces here (http://www.firstloox.org/specs.php)

The unofficial info on the new Loox 700 can be fond here (http://firstloox.org/forums/showthread.php?s=a0dd8b70478c3729b8032c14642de4c6&threadid=92&highlight=700)

What 'TheZodiac' probably means is what hardware version of the Loox600 you all have. Cause there actually are 600's with a PXA255 processor. I believe these are only shipped in Asia for now, but this is due to Intel running out of the PXA250... So everything that's produced after -let's say april 2003- will have the PXA255 incorporated :D
Lucky suckers that waited long enough ! ;)
