Is the Tigerex gamepad compatible with Ipaq 3970s?

The reviews & shops that mention it seem to say it only works for 3600 and 3700 Ipaq series.

Also, all shops I found list it as "preorder"... anyplace that has them in stock?

BTW, if you want to advise any other gamepads, please feel free! Only requirement I have is that it solidly hooks to the Ipaq; a separate gamepad is not an option, I only have 2 hands :D

These gamepads don't use the pads on the Ipaq, they are connected to the expansion sleeve connector. So theoretically, they should work on 3900 series..

Anyone with info on compatibility & availability?

Have you checked their website:

www.tigerex.com.tw

Follow the links to thePDA section and there is an entry for the Gamepad. The final entry in the compatability list is fro Compaq ipaq 38xx - so it should work on 39xx series also.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. I sent off an email asking if it is for sure compatible with 3970... but seems it will be.

Now to find a place that does not list it as "preorder" and hasn't updated the page in years...

Anyone?
