Hi,

I have just bought a Buffalo 802.11g (CB-G54) PCMCIA card for my Compaq Evo laptop and a Buffalo CF card for my Loox PDA. My aim is to establish an ad hoc network between them for streaming content. I have managed to get the PCMCIA card recognise the CF card and connect at 11 Mbps. However, I can't get the Internet access or active sync to work. I have identical SSID and channel settings for both cards.

What is the best tool for pinging a network computer from a Pocket PC? I would really appreciate if anyone can give me any tips or provide links to articles that discuss this issue.
