I just got a iPAQ (my first PDA) for christmas and I am having trouble getting videos to play on Windows Media Player. MP3's play fine. Do I need specific file types for them to work. I have tried .avi, .mpeg, .mpg but none are associated(have an icon)/work.
Thanks

Mediaplayer plays movies in WMV format.
Get PocketTV( free for personal use) and PocketDiVX for Mpeg, Avi and stuff.

The pocketversion of WMP only supports WMV, WMA & MP3. If you want to play mpeg's or avi's, download Pocket TV. www.pockettv.com

grab the windows media encoder to convert your movies into wmv format. PocketTV and pocketDivX are good but the wmv files seem to be smaller if you don't have a whole lot of space.
