Toshiba. Hey, they all add up. So, Microsoft, can we expect a 100GB Zune in the future, or will Apple beat you to it?

I'm starting to get a tad concerned about areal density... Seriously...

It would be nice to see the Zune team jump all over that.

Be interesting to see which comes out first: 100GB Zune or 100GB iPod.:)

I am betting on seeiing them both about the same time or iPod just abit ahead. I would love to see a somewhat smaller version of the Zune with the same size screen and a hug ace hard drive.

Does anyone know if the 100GB drive is the same thickness as the Toshiba 30GB and 40GB drives? If so, that would be sweet!

Considering Toshiba is manufacturing the Zune for MS you would think they might get at least a 30 day head start over Apple. I don't know how fast Toshiba can ramp up manufacturing of the 100GB drives but they would really have to be in full swing before they could fulfill a contract the size Apple would require.
