Can't connect to my POP3 email or the web in Dallas this AM. I haven't changed any settings. Does ATT's Media Net go down once in a while?
I have tried multiple restarts of the phone and checked the settings.

For giggles, I went into Wireless Manager and turned off Media Net, then turned it back on. Now when I try to access the internet, I get the following error:
"Cannot connect to the proxy server, Contact your network administrator"

Can someone please verify the correct proxy/Media Net settings for ATT/Cingular for me?

Sounds to me like there some sort of outage going on. :?

Here's the Proxy info out of my BlackJack (although, I ddon't use it, so I don't know if it's right or not.)

Connects from: The Internet
Connects to: Wap Network
Proxy (name:port): wireless.cingular.com:80
Type: HTTP

That's what mine is set to, still no joy.

I wonder if my GPRS settings are correct?

I will try later as I am about to be stuck in a lab where I can't take a camera phone.

I can't help you with the GPRS settings, as I deleted them from my device - I'm not in the US so Cingular's settings are worthless to me. ;)

I'm sure I have seen the settings posted around the site, or perhaps someone that has them handy will reply.

Must have been an outage, I just came back to my desk and checked my phone and all is well :D
