ClearVue suite is now confirmed as being fully compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0, so owners of the Orange SPV C600 or Cingular 2125 can grab this now or try the 15-day trial."</i><br /><br /><img src="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/images/Jerry-clearvue-logo.jpg" alt="User submitted image" title="User submitted image"/><br /><br />The suite actually comes on the CD in the box along with Outlook 1805. Alright I'm kidding but Microsoft can't you include the 2003 version now? Now here is the strange part. The ClearVue installer doesn't add any shortcuts for the viewers anywhere! In fact it doesn't even make the file associations! The only way I even found the programs was by putting a pdf file on my phone and then using File Manager to get to it. Once I clicked on it I was asked what program to associate with this file! It listed all the executables on the phone and there at the bottom of the list were the ClearVue programs. What's up with that?

for real? thats lame. you would think with as much as the phone got delayed they would have fixed the software CD that came with it or did no beta testers install the actual software?

After several installs/uninstalls, I manged to install this thing correctly off the CD. Don't ask me how I did it though, I can't remember. At first I had the same problem as you, but finally they installed shortcuts and associated with file types correctly. gl[/img]

It's a long story...suffice it to say that a 3rd party integrator dropped the ball on us. We are aware of the issue and will post a patch for it on our website shortly.

For those of you that don't have a Cingular 2125, we are offering a 50% discount through the end of the year. Details on our website (http://www.westtek.com.). (Seemed like a good opportunity for a shameless plug.)

Tim, your app is great. Do you have any updated QVGA icons for WM5?

Does anybody know how to SEND an email attachment from a Smartphone? I was appalled to realize I couldn't do that.

Attachsmart (http://www.attachsmart.com/) is one way. I haven't tried it on the 2125 yet though.
