Originally Ed Whitacre had said they were dumping the Cingular brand name entirely, according to the original story I posted <a href="http://www.smartphonethoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9687">here</a>. I still think they should just bury the ATT (AT&amp;T or whatever it is this week) brand forever.

cingular just sounds better than ATT but i still think they should bring back the whole mMode thing and get she of MediaNET. mMode just sounds better.

plus they should bring back the unlimited plan, it was the greatest thing ATT wireless had :(
