<img src="http://images.thoughtsmedia.com/zt/2006/zune-banners-launching.jpg" alt="" /><br /><br />Well, the Zune advertising campaign is starting to pick up speed - I hit Gizmodo today and saw a 160 x 600 tower banner. That's great to get the brand out there (even if <a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=zune&amp;hl=en&amp;hs=KaO&amp;lr=&amp;safe=off&amp;client=firefox-a&amp;rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&amp;start=10&amp;sa=N" target="_blank">we're still #17 in Google</a> - doh! It sucks coming late to the party). What's a bit baffling though is that the banners link to the <a href="https://www.comingzune.com/" target="_blank">Coming Zune</a> site. You know, the one that's so ultra-hip and cool that you don't really understand what it's trying to tell you, or that the Zune is a media player? I get the whole teaser campaign concept, but it's time to move beyond that now into something more concrete for perspective buyers to check out.
