Dust Problem with Audiovox SMT 5600?

Didn't want to hijack the front-page article about cost of correcting dust problem by PPCTechs so I'm asking here: For those who own the 5600, how long have you had it and do/did you have dust under the screen?

I've only had mine for a month and I have none so far.

My smt5600 doesn't have any dust either. (however I only used it for about 3 months)

I think a big part of this is how you store your phone. Do you slide it into your pocket where it's surronded by lint and dust, or do you put it in a case? I always use the case. Well, almost always.

I use the case that came with it about 75% of the time and there will always be times when I will put it in my pocket (I'm thrilled that it's small enough for me to do that!). It's just I've read a lot of stories about the SPV and was wondering whether I should expect the Audiovox to eventually have this problem.

I've had my phone over 6 months and there is a little dust behind the screen. You can barely notice it but it is there. My phone is ususally in the case but sometimes I place it in my pocket.

Dust under screen after a week or so. I put the phone in my pant or shirt pocket all the time.

This kind of poor sealing around the screen is unacceptable.
