Ok... If I get unlimited MediaNet for my MPx220, and use it as a modem for my laptop, why would I spend $80 for the laptop connect they tought in the Small Bussiness section?

I've used both. The $80 is much faster as is PDA connect $40 vs Media works

mediaWorks is not intended to be used tethered to a PC. I'm suprised they even let you. I think they will charge you if data usage is high enough.

MediaWorks is for phone data use only....the higher price plans are for PC use.

I'm a T-Mobile customer considering switching to Cingular. I'm trying to arm myself with as much info as I can before I head into the Cingular store. What plan do I need from Cingular that will allow me to connect my Smartphone to my PDA or laptop and browse HTTP sites, get POP3 email, use Instant Messaging, etc? Is there a plan from Cingular that will allow me to connect my PDA to my VPN at work?
