Looking at the screenshot it seems like the game is played in landscape mode instead of the portrait mode. :?

Virtual Pool Mobile for Smartphone is indeed played in landscape orientation. It is much easier to see the angle for cut shots in landscape mode. It is a great game, you should give it a try. (of course, I am a little biased) ;)
