iPad Update for TomTom

Good to know. Navigon's app is iPad aware too. Hadn't loaded TomTom because, well, I don't load anything that displays a little 2X in the corner. Not sure I'd use this in the car for the driver, but the passenger/navigator would have a much better time with it than a smaller screen.

Not sure why you make the point "Obviously it would be best to have the 3G iPad so you can use it in more places than your neighborhood Starbucks." As far as I know TomTom and Navigon both have offline maps (look at the download size), you don't need a connection like you would with Google or Bing to retreive maps as needed. Of course the iPad without 3G doesn't have a GPS either, so maybe that is your point..but then Starbucks (WiFi) has nothing to do with it.
