Do you have the voice-calling blues, wishing for a better way to talk to your friends -- without using your minutes? Consider Viber, a free VoIP app that launched for the iPhone last year."

Oh look! It's yet another VoIP service for Android! Having been out for the iPhone for some time now, Viber is now available for the Android folk to use. It doesn't really appear to offer anything more than Skype or Fring or any number of the other VoIP services out there. In fact it really offers a bit less in terms of making calls to those who don't also use Viber. It does offer one unique feature though. Viber does not require you to register for an account or create a username. It simply uses your phone number as your ID. While this makes for very easy setup I'm not really sure I like the idea. For now I think I'll just stick to Skype or our SIP server at work for my VoIP calling. Any of you guys plan on giving Viber a try? Let us know how it works out for you.
