This video shows how surprisingly easy it is to swap out the SSD in the Macbook Air. I had to chuckle though when I saw the price of the 480 GB SDD: <a href="http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/SSD/OWC/Aura_Pro_Express" target="_blank">a mere $1579.99 USD</a>. I wonder how many dozens of these they'll sell this year? Yikes. SSD prices aren't free-falling like I keep hoping they will...</p>

I looked at an upgrade for my 64GB drive, and the 180GB upgrade is intriguing, but not at nearly $500. Not in my "still unemployed" budget, unfortunately. The upgrade is laughably simple. You're spot-on with your guess at how many will be sold. That largest SSD along is more than I paid for the entire MacBookAir. Sheesh.
