Sure you have Apple AirPrint which you can use to print documents to HP ePrint printers or you can also e-mail documents to these same ePrint printers, but most people and businesses don’t have these particular models. Plus, whats wrong with the millions of printers already in use? This is where Google Cloud Print comes in. With a few clicks, users can start printing to a network connected printer in over the Internet."

This is on my short list of things to try. The advent of the smartphone has greatly reduced the number of hours I spend on my traditional home computer. Printing is one of those basic tasks that I always have to boot up for, so this seems like an ideal product for my usage pattern. Anyone give this a try yet?

I'll give this a try once they get a Mac client ready.

Mostly I just wanted to point out that although AirPrint is ridiculously limited to new HP printers by default, it's very easy to fix it to work with any network printer if you have a Mac (not sure about Windows). There's a free app that will do it for you, or you can just download and replace the 2 settings files that enable it.
