Papermaster, Like the Loser on Project Runway, is Out
"It was one of the most contentious hires Apple ever made. In November 2008, Steve Jobs hired Mark Papermaster, IBM's top microprocessor executive, to replace Tony Fadell as head of the iPod and iPhone division." And now two years later he is out, and replaced by the person who was his recruiter, Bob Mansfield. Related to the recent PR problems associated with the iPhone 4 antenna? Who knows? All that is known for sure is that he is out of a job with Apple.
