Default Microsoft Demos Apps For WP7 With Source Code

http://www.wmexperts.com/microsoft-...ranslator-board

We're a little over two months away (fingers crossed) to the launch of Windows Phone 7, and Microsoft is going full steam ahead in getting developers up to speed in getting apps ready. Just to show what's possible, MS has unveiled a number of apps including a cool Bing translator that can speak on your behalf (with requisite accent). The best thing (apart from the price: free) is that the source code for these handful of apps is available for devs to pick over and use in their own efforts. At least you can't say MS isn't trying.

Update: We're having some technical difficulties with posting the MS video on the site, but you can hit the link for a view of it.

Oooh - the Bing translator sounds really exciting. Does the fact that MS have released the source code, though, mean that they aren't going to release it as an app?

Getting really excited about the possibility of WP7 with all of the positive news coming out. So looking forward to seeing what handset choices there are going to be.
