Windows Phone 7 Launch Dates: Europe-October, US-November?

"Here's something that seems to have slipped the net from Kevin Turner's recent presentation on Windows Phone 7 devices. While discussing the move to Microsoft's next great hope in the mobile space, the Redmond COO told the world that the transition is expected to happen in the October timeframe across Europe, and in the November timeframe in the US."

The intrigue continues to develop as Vlad Savov over at Engadget has reported that a video from Kevin Turner, Microsoft COO, indicates Windows Phone 7 will be released in Europe in October and in the US in November. Whether this is an "official" date remains to be seen. It certainly doesn't seem to be an official announcement. Yesterday we saw news suggesting LG will be releasing a Windows Phone handset in September. One thing's for sure - Windows Phone 7 is inching closer.
