Default BostonPocketPC User Group Meets Wednesday, Has Awesome Giveaway, and Me

http://www.bostonpocketpc.com/UPDAT...ly+21+2010.aspx

"Continuing our meeting focus on preparing for Windows Phone 7 development, I will be presenting "Silverlight UI Tips and Tricks for Windows Phone Developers" - In our previous presentation on Windows Phone 7 development for Compact Framework developers, be were introduced to the essentials surrounding UI development with Silverlight and Visual Studio 2010. The logical "next step" in the learning process is to enhance our user interfaces using the powerful capabilities that Silverlight provdes. In this presentation, you will be introduced to animation capabilities to enhance your Windows Phone 7 UI. You will also learn about data access and data binding capabilities and see how to leverage "the cloud" and services it provides."

BostonPocketPC is holding their monthly user group meeting this Wednesday, which developers and end users alike may find interesting to attend. Fellow MVP Don Sorcinelli will be discussing Silverlight Tips & Tricks, a discussion on essential apps will take place, and a sweet door prize will be given away: A Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate MSDN Subscription! Oh, and I'll be there too - making the trek up from NYC to see some of the Boston crew and to personally heckle Don. So if you're not busy that night feel free to drop by around 6:30, details on BostonPocketPC's site.

Default There Goes The Meeting...

Thanks, Jon. I plan to now wear my heckle-proof clothing; a slicker to protect myself from the rotten fuit and vegetables you will be throwing :-)

I'm looking forward to another session on Windows Phone 7 development and (the icing on the cake) having you in attendance as well.

See you Wednesday!
