Default Google's Pac Man Logo Games Causes Hilarious Support Call

http://mashable.com/2010/06/09/goog...n-tech-support/

"Google probably thought it was doing the world a favor when it released its Pac-Man logo that doubled as a playable version of the game. But alas, web users are not as sophisticated as Google anticipated. A legion of Firefox users were perplexed by the design decision and headed over to support to learn how they could fix the "problem." Now we have possible audio evidence - in the form of a tech support call uploaded by YouTube user Mrcoolbrad - highlighting just how confusing this was for parts of the online population."

The video (which is just an audio recording) says it all - very funny stuff. Have a great weekend everyone!

I think my whole department spent their entire day playing pacman that day. They need to put games up more often!

Not sure what the big deal was. I thought when tech support ran across someone that inept at the internet, they pulled their access and sent them an etch-a-sketch?

I could only stand about 2/3s of that. The tech had the patience of Job.

Sigh. Some people just shouldn't be allowed near a computer. This sounds so much like the nurses I work with. Smart, lovable people but really "challenged" technologically.

Crimsonsky,
My wife is a nurse and is similarly tech challenged. She got a big kick out of your post. She wanted to ask a question of you; Do you work with nurses or are your married to one?

There actually was a strange thing with Pacman and Firefox with Coolpreview addon installed:

On my computer, when having Firefox open, the Pacman sound never stopped! It was annoying I can assure you, but disabling addons one by one I could weed out Coolpreview
