Default Say Hello to PockDangoear (Or something like that)

http://www.engadget.com/2010/02/23/...est-cross-plat/

"Now this is intriguing. PocketGear has just acquired its former competitor Handango in the cross-platform app store space, and can now claim a library of software that places it right alongside Apple's App Store in terms of the pure number of applications on offer."

The graphic above comes from Engadget's post, and it's pretty spot on and self explanatory. PocketGear has purchased Handango, creating quite a huge store of apps that you can browse, regardless of platform!

Good ridance Handango. If this means we will get paid for the last eight months of sales in our Handango AMPP store I support it.

I am sure Handango kept charging developers, but somehow "forgot" to pay the sales partnerts in some cases.

Contacting their support goes nowhere. The people who worked with partners were all gone, and the AMPP email on their pages is now a non-existent mailbox.

Default No More Handango... YES!!!

The most pathetic, unresponsive, lethargic, dishonest, greedy software vendor in the history of the internet.... good riddance!

After getting screwed over twice for double billing and exchanging email with clueless twits for nearly 3 weeks, then receiving letters saying the case was resolved and wanting my opinion... After that, I'd to go out of my way to buy software from anyone but Handango.

Die Handango Die!

Man do I feel better now ;-)

Maybe they'll also do away with the rip off charge to redownload what you bought. Never paid it and never will.
