WinMo 6.5.3 Is The New Classic

This is interesting. With the launch of Windows Phone 7 sometime this year, apparently Windows Mobile 6.5.3 will continue to exist and according to the IStartedSomething blog, it will be called Windows Phone Classic.

One thing I haven't seen is how Windows Phone 7 will support non-touchscreen devices, if it will at all. Perhaps Windows Phone Classic is the way to keep low end keyboard centric devices relevant.

tRodHxC Neophyte Join Date: Feb 2010 Posts: 1		For people like me who dont want the phone to go toward iphone-esque os features, such as lack of full fledged multitasking. Install from cabs and ultimate customization. thousands of cabs and tweaks already out there. the massive rom flashing underground following. not to mention the resistive and capacitive screen differences. many more reasons why ill be staying with high end 6.5.3 OS I'm running now any day over the more restrictive iphone like windows phone 7.
