Default AT&T and HP Announce iPAQ Glisten

http://www.wireless.att.com/busines...isten/index.jsp

"The new HP iPAQ Glisten smartphone is a productivity powerhouse exclusively from AT&T. With its simple yet superior design, the iPAQ Glisten lets you view email, Web pages, and documents clearly from any angle on the active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) resistive-touch display that offers vivid colors, true black, and outdoor readability with fast-touch response and better battery performance. Durability begins with the attractive, thin design and jewel-like front. Its soft-touch finish resists scratches."

Another year, another iPAQ. Hopefully this one will be released in a timely fashion. Given HP's track record though, I'd expect this 6.5 device to hit just about the time Windows Mobile 7.5 is announced. Sorry HP - I guess I just have bad memories!

What is that? A whopping 1.5 inch screen? HP, bring that one right back to the drawing board.

I like it, too. Now that Palm is leaving WM, I am going to have to look towards other manufacturers to get my treo-like favorite design. This one would be a good contender should my Treo Pro give up the ghost (I hope not!). I had the 6945, and thought it was a great unit. The 900 series looked nice, but I skipped it and fell for the Treo. My only complaint about this device is the relative lack of hardware buttons. Makes for a clean design, though. 4/5 thumbs up.
