Default Left Out Again: Xperia X2 Passes FCC Without US 3G

http://www.wmexperts.com/xperia-x2-...s-without-us-3g

The good news is that the Xperia X2 is now legally usable within the territory of the United States. The bad news is that you won't be able to get 3G speeds on any of the available networks through the FCC-passed model. Having said that, if and when Sony-Ericsson comes up with a model using US 3G bands it should get through the FCC fairly quickly (have they ever turned anyone down?). Given SE's financial troubles and relative lack of penetration into the US market, I wouldn't lay odds on that ever happening.

Default No loss IMHO

I bought the X1A from a Sony Style Store. Big mistake. Laggy interface, expensive and worst of all with light gray keys, when the KB light would come on in low light settings, the labels on the keys simply disappeared. Poof! I hated it, and spent a 15% restocking fee to give it back. With all the really good WinMo phones (not to mention some cool Android devices) we won't miss another Sony expen$ive failure.
