Default A Windows 6.5 Family Portrait

http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2009/...amily-portrait/

"Can you name them all? Don't worry, it's a lot to keep track of. Clockwise we have the HTC Tilt 2 (AT&T), Toshiba TG01 (not announced for US), HTC Imagio (Verizon), HTC Pure (AT&T), Samsung Intrepid (Sprint) and LG GM750 (not announced for US)."

Engadget has put together a quick video showing us the new Windows Mobile 6.5 phones coming from US carriers. Lots of pics in their gallery.

MS should hurry and get those later builds out to consumers and not go back to their silly games of only offering it on new devices.

I could not agree more.

MS keeps saying that WM is business oriented; well guess what? In our company we only use SIM free phones because the initial, higher cost is irrilevant compared to the amount of money we save in "roaming charges". In spite of that we still are at the mercy of HTC and other hardware companies for OS updates.
A Master from Harvard is not needed to realize that a hardware maker has no interest to offer software updates for existing devices; on the contrary they would try to push customers to buy new devices therefore increasing revenues.

Indeed, this remains one of the single biggest ugly points in the Windows Mobile ecosystem.
