I love the look of this utility but haven't ever tried it - but at this point I really want to get my Mac and my Axim in Sync!

Three features:
- iTunes Sync
- Folder Sync
- Application List plugin

Of course, the whole package looks great!

FWIW, I tried this app and it would never sync with my Q9. The app would flash when the phone was connected by USB, never recognized a BT connection (though I could transfer files to the phone directly via BT connect), but it would never initiate a sync. For me, Missing Sync actually worked.

I had just discovered this app today while searching for Win Mobile 6 sync software for my macbook running OSX 10.5. I have an AT&T Tilt (HTC TytnII) that was immediately discovered and had the client connector software installed. My syncs for my selections happened without a hitch and was prompted for any changes to be made.

My favorite features from the Syncmate Expert so far have been the iCal, iTunes and the SMS manager.

Features I would like to see implemented would be synching of mail with Thunderbird since I do not use Mac's mail app. The integration with Google contacts, calendar and Firefox is outstanding.

I've had nothing but a great experience using this program that has helped relieve my frustration with Mac to Windows Mobile communications.

The UI of the app has been well thought out as well. Color me a happy customer my two devices living in harmony.

Default Just tried SyncMate

This is great! I've just tried out the free version and it syncs quite happily with my iPaq 112. It transferred my contacts and calendar to my Mac laptop with no problems. While the free version is very useful, the Expert version has some nice-sounding extra features:

iTunes syncing (cool!)
Notes synchronisation (I keep lots of Notes)
Folder synchronisation (to make sure all my essential documents are always up-to-date)

Thanks for pointing this software out to us.

Thumbs up Syncmate is awesome

Hi,

I am a big fan of Syncmate. I use it to connect my HTC Touch HD and it works flawlessly. My favorite 3 features are:

1. I use it to backup my contacts. As I meet many customers in my job and I keep updating the contacts I love the one-way back up feature which was missing in the other software that I tried (i.e. Missing Sync)
2. Seamless Windows Mobile 6.1 integration. Syncmate is a breeze to you on my HTC and the easy access to the taskbar icon on my Windows Mobile Today screen is great.
3. As my house is wifi enabled the ability to connect over Wifi makes it a lot more practical and also fun!

Thanks Syncmate

Rgds,
Feynman

wow, are there really not that many people using winmo phones and OSX?

I've tried out missing sync before and was having issues with it, it was soon updated but my trial period ran out and couldn't evaluate the latest version. Currently i have XP running through vmware's fusion to do my rom flashing and syncing but having xp as a guest OS i dont store anything on it (no pictures, music, videos, etc). That being said, this software would be great for media (itunes and iphoto) syncing, getting my contacts onto the OSX side, and would like to check out the SMS Reader and plug in.

Good luck to all (only 5 replies total so far, chances looking good )

Always looking for a good sync program with the Mac. I have Missing Sync, but it seems like half the time is doesn't connect properly, freezes my phone, messes up the calendar. I went so far as to turn it off and only sync when I open Parallels and use WMDC in Vista. Would love to give this a try.... Wifi sync? Pretty sweet...
