This is part two (part one is here) of a three part video of a panel that was hosted by Carlos Montalvo the VP of Product Experience at HP. The topic was "The Promise of Digital Entertainment", and in essence, the discussion focused in on how the industry as a whole has failed to live up to the "digital entertainment everywhere" promise that has been made year after year at shows such as CES. The panel consisted of Ross Rubin from NPD, Terri Walsh from We Got Served, Wilson Rothman from Gizmodo, Will Smith from Maximum PC, and Richard Doherty from Envisioneering. It was interesting to listen to these experts talk about the state of the industry, though I disagree with some of them regarding the state and fate of Blu-Ray (expect that topic in a future column). Filmed at CNTRSTG.
