Default Live From Las Vegas It's...Jason Dunn!

Hey loyal Thoughts Media readers, I'm checking in with you all from Las Vegas where I'll be reporting on what I see at CES. I'm by my lonesome, so don't expect Engadget-like coverage, but I did bring my video camera so I'm hoping to get some cool interviews, product demos, and find everything that's new and exciting at CES. Stay tuned - I'm here until Sunday night.

I'm staying at someplace even better: the Wynn Encore. I started out staying at the Sahara, a modest hotel. Then a friend gave me a coupon code for the Wynn that made staying there only $20 more than staying at the Sahara...so I switched! Then the Wynn emailed me and said they'd overbooked and asked if they could upgrade me to the Wynn Encore suite. I said sure. It's *really* nice here. ]

My feet are so sore though...I wore a pedometer today and clocked 12,888 steps.

I really wanted to go to Vegas this year but I had a huge project that was suppose to start this week... and then the client canceled. I'm half tempted to catch a red eye flight in the morning

You lucky git.

The Wynn hotel is so nice inside. I love all of the flowers and the spiral escalators.

I think walking is the best way to get around Vegas. It's the only way to stay healthy after all the food and beer!

Dude, all that walking is only from INSIDE the hotels - I've taken a cab everywhere outside.
