Default iHome Releases ZN9 Clock Radio

http://www.ihomeaudio.com/products....50&dept_id=1006

"'With its iconic design and an array of attractive features, the ZN9 allows consumers to enjoy big sound in small spaces,' said Evan Stein, vice president of Marketing, iHome. 'We intend to apply the same creative sound and design expertise that has made iHome the market leader in its category to our growing line of Zune sound solutions.'"

Well, we've been hearing about this for some time now and its finally official! The ZN9 is available to purchase. I absolutely plan on getting one of these but I'll probably wait until after August since I'm going to be out of town for so much of the time I won't get to enjoy it.

But once I get one I'll get a review up for it. Not that I have any reason to believe it’s not as good as I've heard it is. If you want to buy one now, it’s a steal at $99.99!

Full press release after the break.

RAHWAY, N.J., July 15, 2008 – iHome, a leading provider of innovative speaker solutions today announced the release of the first offering in a new line of speaker systems developed exclusively for the Zune™ digital media player. The new ZN9 Dual-Alarm Stereo Clock Radio features the great sound, high quality and array of features that define the company’s extensive product catalogue.

“With its iconic design and an array of attractive features, the ZN9 allows consumers to enjoy big sound in small spaces,” said Evan Stein, vice president of Marketing, iHome. “We intend to apply the same creative sound and design expertise that has made iHome the market leader in its category to our growing line of Zune sound solutions.”

Added Drew Peterson, Product Manager, Microsoft: “We are pleased to be working with iHome to bring Zune customers a convenient new way to use and enjoy their Zune player. We look forward to continuing to make more great accessories available for the Zune digital media player.”

The first-ever clock radio for the Zune, the ZN9 Dual Alarm, Stereo Clock Radio lets owners gradually wake or sleep to the music they have stored on their Zune, or via the radio or buzzer. A 7-5-2 feature allows for separate weekday and weekend alarm times, and an extra large, backlit LCD display with dimmer is easy on tired eyes. Uncompromising stereo drivers in specially designed Reson8™ speaker chambers deliver unparalleled depth and clarity.

The ZN9 Dual Alarm, Stereo Clock Radio is currently available for purchase on iHomeaudio.com and at major retail outlets nationwide for the suggested retail price of $99.99.
