Default New, Improved SMS-Chat

http://iwindowsmobile.com/threaded-...-messaging.html

"SMS-Chat is a Windows Mobile SMS messenger that organizes your SMS correspondence into threaded SMS conversations. This way you have a separate chat for every contact with whom you exchange short text messages. You can easily follow a conversation scrolling thru chats with a finger: all messages are grouped by date. Manage your mobile texting with a flick of a finger!"

It is a good thing third party developers come up with applications that should be built into our devices to begin with. Oh I forgot, WM 6.1 will have threaded SMS when it arrives in 2025. The good news is you don't have to wait that long because Vito has come up with an interim solution. This one looks pretty good.

If you look over at xda-developers a lot of people are already playing with WM 6.1 BUT the threaded SMS is no where near as well executed as this program..

Love the program, however today I tried forwarding a message and it ended up sending the details of the person I was forwarding to, back to the original sender.

We've fixed this bug. Will you download a new version here.

By the way, a fresh review has just come out about SMS-Chat by a wellknown MVP Clinton Fitch. You can read it here.

April 28th, 2009 – VITO Technology releases the new 1.2 version of SMS-Chat. Our bestseller for threaded SMS on Windows Mobile handsets now has 3 skins, backup function for your messages straight from the application and. last but not least major bugs have been fixed.

SMS-Chat a part from including all functions of messaging software has unique interfaces and functions that allow you to manage all SMS correspondences into threaded SMS conversations. This way all chats are separate, clearly shown and organized for each contact. Version 1.2 makes SMS-Chat even more enjoyable and reliable thanks to its enhanced look and functionality.
Reliability is assured by the added back up feature that backs up of all SMS and restores them straight from SMS-Chat, this way the recovery of any possible loss of chats is easy and straight forward.
