Default Phone Arena Reviews the Glofiish M800

http://www.phonearena.com/htmls/Ete...iew-r_1937.html

"Is the M800 revolutionary device – definitely not. Is it worth upgrading from X800 – only if you really want QWERTY (there’s nothing else new). Is it worth getting? It depends, if you are on the market for a (Windows Mobile) smartphone, the M800 is still a nice device. Although it is neither the fastest, nor the prettiest (and yes, we don’t like the capacitive keys!) it is one of the few out there with a high-res (VGA) display. Of course, it has some negative sides, but it is a matter of compromise. Overall, the TyTN II is better, but only if you could live with the nowadays mediocre QVGA display. We leave the decision to you."

The M800 gets an 8.5/10 from Phone Arena: good, but not perfect. But then most devices rarely are. If you dig your VGA, QWERTY, 3G, and GPS, then this device is definitely worth a look.

I ordered one yesterday.
they are really affordable via expansys ( 489,-)
It should replace my xda star (touch dual), as i really want a VGA screen and the built in GPS and WiFi are also nice.

the touch duals keyboard is just poorly integrated into winMo. It doesnt work well in many applications, you can't use shortcuts like CTRL-V, no dedicated OK and Windows buttons...

the only thing negative about the m800 are the capacitative keys, but my XDA Star has no softkeys and the DPAD is horrible, much worse than the one on the touch dual.

Ideally i want a VGA phone with 3,5" screen, but the XDA flame has too many problems to be interesting, and the Universal is too big and clumsy.

basically, the glofiish m800 would be perfect, if it had a flush touch screen and real buttons. at least in theory
