Default Live USA Weather Maps On Your Pocket PC

http://bevhoward.com/storm/ppcrad.htm

If you are interested in weather in the United States, Beverly Howard has created a mobile friendly web page that allows you to see static and animated radar images, satellite images and links to other mobile friendly weather sites. If you are interested in weather patterns or are just traveling and want more info than temperature and chance of precipitation, this link would be a handy bookmark to keep on your device.

This isn't a new site, but I am not sure when he set it up. Even if we did post on it at sometime in the past, it is one of those sites that deserves a repost every few years for new members to the mobile device community. The beauty of this site is it will work with many device, Windows Mobile or not. :way to go:

That's pretty cool!

Another really good mobile weather site is the Mobile Weather Underground: http://m.wund.com/ It also has static/animated radar images.

Thanks Ed.

To underscore the main two goals which prompted me to construct it;

Absolute minimum data ($$) to get to any USA current local weather radar image.

A "Tap Only" interface.

The page has been upgraded since the last appearance here to allow easy selection of static (cheap) or loop ($$) images, plus added Cuba and Mexico radar sites to extend the hurricane season radar range.

Thanks,
