It's Official: i-mate Ultimate 8502 & 9502
"Those two rather dashing new models in i-mate's off-again, on-again Ultimate line that we peeped all the way back at CTIA last fall are finally official. The 9502, undoubtedly the more interesting of the pair, is almost Sidekick-ish in its design, featuring a VGA touchscreen that slides to the side to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard. The 8502 meanwhile makes do with a more traditional form factor, sticking the QWERTY pad below the 2.6 inch QVGA display up front."
When word first leaked out regarding the 8502 and 9502, there was a bit of confusion about them as they were not on i-mate's device road map, much less part of the Ultimate line-up. Now that they are, it feels a bit of an anti-climax. That shouldn't lessen your interest, though! If you care for the hardware side of things, this pair has all the goodies.

What we need isnt the 10th unveiling of these handsets, but unequivocal release dates with prices and distribution channels!
I am even thinking about buying a 9502 with Telstra in Australia and having them ship it to me in Europe as soo as they stock the units in March.
