Spacetime Arcade Realms Now Freeware
"Start with any of six different races and prepare your ship to embark on a journey through the six realms, encountering minefields, power generators, guardians and protectors. Collect Tari to upgrade your ship and buy inventory to make your journey less perilous. Once your vessel is armed, prepare to test your skills in destruction, strategy, defense, and maneuverability as you engage in space warfare."
First released way back in 2003, Realms garnered quite a few kudos for its then great graphics and gameplay. Spacetime (developers of the eponymous mathematics software package) has now declared Realms as freeware - you can't beat the price of $0! If arcade-style shooters interest you, this is definitely one to check out.

This game doesn't work on my Treo 750
I installed it on both my (2GB) Storage Card and on the local device, twice, and it didn't work. It starts to run, then crashes.
Just FYI. I wish I could get it to work. I rebooted, and I have lots of space free, yada yada. Nothing.

Sorry for the crash! I just uploaded a new version. Could you give it a try? This is v1.21 and uses the latest version of PocketHAL which Realms uses for all the rendering. I was using an older version of PocketHAL which is the only thing I can think of that would be causing the crash.

Wow, this is a great game, with very good graphics, perfect sound and enough levels to keep you busy for a many hours !!

Whoa! This game is really cool. I can't believe they're letting us play this for free. I played for about an hour before I had to stop myself. Thanks for making this available! It's a great game!

Question
I've been enjoying Realms, but I get to one mission, and I can't figure out how to do it. It's the second mission in the third section where you have to send a transmission to the power generators. I can play indefinitely and collect tens of thousands of tari, but I can't figure out how to send the transmission. I have a T-Mobile Wing phone. The game works great, I just can't figure out how to perform this one function. Any ideas?
