Default Vodafone 2008 Roadmap Features HP Oak

http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2008...roadmap-hp-oak/

"The HP Oak sports a nifty slide-out QWERTY keyboard with a traditional number pad on the front, in addition to integrated GPS and Wi-Fi. Were not really judging here, but it looks like you might have some difficulty with that 1010mAh battery. Release date? Thought youd never ask! September, guys. Its a long way to go, and ₤260 couldnt come soon enough."

While the basic hardware specs won't immediately grab you by the throat, two telling little acronyms can go a long way - Class 7/8 HSDPA (7.8MBits!!), and HSUPA. If data connectivity is your key requirement, this baby's got it in spades. The rest of the package isn't all that bad either, with GPS, full sliding QWERTY keyboard, standard phone numpad, and a half-decent price (if that's really unlocked). That battery won't make too many people happy though, given 3G's proclivity for draining power, and the screen doesn't look like it'll suit power users. Still, September is a long way away and the design might see more refinements - until then, enjoy the view!

HPs current crop of new Windows Mobile devices was supposed to be out last Sep, and most still aren't available. Some even are hard to still find on HPs site. I wouldn't start holding my breath for this thing yet.
