Elecont Weather is world wide 6-day weather forecast and current conditions plugin for today screen. Animated effects with multiple icon sets and layout types."

Elecont Weather takes a snapshot of the forecast and gives you as much or little data as you want, where you want it. Among it's features:
Worldwide weather and current conditions on today screen. Animated effects on today screen with multiple icon sets. Detailed six day weather forecast for day and night. Current conditions with air pressure, ultra violet index and humidity for 51000+ world-wide locations. Unlimited number of weather watching locations. 9 different unit of measurement combinations.
Version 486 adds a new skin, German, French and Chinese language support and a faster install time. You can download a demo from our affiliate site. There, you'll also find a special discount of $2 off the regular price until November 15th. Give it a try and tell me whether or not it's your new weather app.

Well, I wanted it, and downloaded the trial. But for the life of me, I can't find where it will show the low temp for the day, only the current temp. Is that a function of it being a trial? Does anybody know? I won't buy it if I can't get the low temp. Spb weather, which I own, isn't accurate for my area. I do need a good weather app. The HTC Touch comes with one, but no cities in the US that are within hundreds of miles, and honestly, I could care less about the weather in Washington, DC. It's just full of hot air, anyhow.

Rod3, I've sent an e-mail to Elecont to check on this. Hopefully they'll post an answer here.

I don't know that using another app would necessarily give you better weather data - it really depends on the data source you're using. If the source is accurate, then the decision on which app to use depends on features and UI. If the source is inaccurate, then the answer is to look for better weather data sources, rather than try another app. From what I remember of SPB Weather though (caveat: this was a couple of years ago, things might have improved), it wasn't that easy changing data sources.

Thanks, Paul Martin; I'll look forward to finding out more.
Nurhisham, if they would only get their data from Nat'l Weather, it would be fine. I'm not sure where they get it, and I can't figure a way to change it. It's odd that it's many degrees off for our area, usually. The HTC Touch weather thingy gets their data from some weird source, but the biggest problem is that they don't allow for my area to be downloaded. Looks like Charlotte, NC, at least, could be accessed, but no. I'd settle for that. If it was accurate.

Thanks Rod3 for interest question
Elecont Weather shows day temperature and night temperature.
Night temperature is not available on Today screen. For see night temperature, please click on Elecont weather and you will see detail window with Day (high) and Night (min) temperature:
Do you want to display night temperature on Today screen?
With best regards
Sergey

Yes, I do want it on the today screen. My copy doesn't have those two elements. Just today, not any night screen. Is that because it's the trial version?
Edit: I found the night thing after I selected a different item. It would be good to have that more available. Thanks!
OK; going to purchase it now!
