Default Vodafone UK Launches The v1520

http://www.theunwired.net/?item=unv...ws-mobile-phone

"Vodafone UK just unveiled a new Windows Mobile 6 Professional smartphone - the Vodafone v1520. This touchscreen Pocket PC phone features a large 3.5" screen and is designed for line of business applications and navigation by featuring triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE at 900/1800/1900 MHz, singleband UMTS at 2100 MHz, Bluetooth and WiFi as well as sporting an integrated GPS receiver and a 2 megapixel camera."

Sounds an awful lot like certain HTC devices...but it's not. The v1520 is designed and manufactured by Asustek, and the feature list isn't bad. Vodafone's website lists it as "coming soon", but volume production starts this month, so any takers will have it in their mitts without any unreasonable delays - *cough*HP*cough*. No pricing has been announced as yet.

Default I'm getting one, who's with me?

First:
When I woke up this morning I thought I was dreaming: 3.5 display? Integrated GPS? Say What! Do I want this phone? Heck yeah I do! Do I want this phone!

Second:
They got the specs wrong on the Vodafone Website unless they are implying that it has a horizontal slide out keyboard that adds another 100mm to the phone (which is impossible when you do the math and you look at picture of the phone comparing the size of the display and the side of the phone housing). So Im sure they meant: 121 x 70 x 16.5 mm; opposed to 121 x 170 x 16.5 mm. Agree?

Third:
The flame is bulkier and does not have integrated GPS. Is this the first WM device that combines a 3.5 display and GPS with phone capabilities? I cant think of another one.

Im getting one, whos with me?
