Default Mio P560 Shown at CEATEC 07

http://www.akihabaranews.com/en/new...ls.php?id=14910

"MIO unveiled last month a new breed of GPS, and among them, we came across the P560 version at the CEATEC. Basically, this device is a Windows Mobile 6 PDA, with a SiRF GPS module, a VGA screen and a 400Mhz CPU. So not only is this device technically quite good, we must admit that the design is clearly beautiful Well done MIO!"

Released on August 31, the Mio P560 made an appearance at CEATEC 07. This next-generation GPS device is very slick and runs Windows Mobile 6. According to Mio, the P560 will include:

* Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless technology
* Navigation software for Windows Mobile 6
* 20-channel SiRFstarIII GPS technology
* Wi-Fi for free phone calls and Internet access
* Fast 400 MHz processor for quick route recalculation
* Full PDA functionality and synchronisation with Microsoft Outlook
* SDHC support for memory expansion up to and more than 4GB
* 349 ($490 USD) without MioMap v3, 399 ($560 USD) with MioMap v3

Look for more CEATEC coverage of the P560 at Akihabara. Anyone ready to dump their current GPS for the new Mio?

Features are good. I'm not to keen on the design. Looks like and old Toshiba i740 to me.
