Is the affiliate store only good for the US? I am in Canada and am thinking of purchasing from Expansys (TyTN II) but your affiliate store links only to the US one.

Yeah, it's a flaw with their affiliate program - I don't have a "real" affiliate store, it's a link that does some basic tracking, but if anyone clicks away to any of the other stores off my affiliate store, it doesn't track that. Kind of frustrating.

See if this works for you:

		  "Dual Touch?"

HTC were already walking a very fine line between picking an innocently original name for their "Touch II" device, and cleverly suggesting it may have a certain "i-popular" feature which in fact it doesn't, when they came up with "HTC Touch Dual".

You just crossed that line, I'm afraid!

My thoughts exactly. I used to think HTC was more than a "me too" company, but I'm starting to change my mind!

"HTC Touch Slide" or "HTC Touch & Slide" would have worked fine...

On second thought, maybe I'm being a bit harsh on HTC. They are trying to workaround Microsoft's unwillingness to streamline the windows mobile interface. The result are things like "touchFlo" which are not impressive because at the end of the day are being hacked on top of an existing UI.

check out the video of the touch dual: http://www.expansys.ie/video.aspx?id=616&i=156005

They've added another piece of UI that pops up when you open the slider, which makes a lot of sense. Do you believe these incremental add-ons to WM can eventually become a consistent alternative UI?
