James' Quick Look at the Samsung i760
"WOW!! I have been waiting for this phone for months. The rumor thread at pdaphonehome.com started last November and has gone over 6000 posts. It still hasn't been officially released, (you can get accessories, read on). Today it finally came. I bought it from someone who bought it new and kept it a week. I am taking a real chance here but I think it's worth it. I am sick of my Treo and already put the Q up for sale. I have ben using this phone since 11:00 am today and I thought I would share my first impressions."

I know quite a few of you have been eyeballing the i760 and are probably quite eager to check out reviews before picking one up. So, here's one for your perusal.

Any thoughts on how this might compare to the TyTN II? I'd love to leave ATT when I can and still have a decent device to use.

As far as I can tell, there is no GPS which for me has become a very often used feature on my new TyTN II.

Hi,
The i760 doesn't show up on the VZ site. I wonder when it will become available to the general public?
Best,
Bill

It was accidentally released for one day. Somewhere between 50-80 got sold before they shut it down.
No one knows for sure when exactly. Best guess now is sometime in October.
