Passing The (Swag) Flame
Well, folks, the time has come for me to hand over my responsibilities as the Sultan of Swag. Some of you may know that I had been under-employed for over two years, but now have a fantastic dream job (heading up the primary market research at a large IT company). Since I started working, though, I've just not had time to give the Thoughts site and readers the attention -- and giveaways -- they deserve.

So, as of today, I'm handing the Sensational System of Swag Sharing and Spreading to Jon Westfall. I'm going to miss all the fun of the giveaways, but Jon's going to do a terrific job getting some great swag out to you readers, starting very soon.
I'll still be around, though, so I'm going to hang onto my Turbin de Swag (because I look so good in it). Drop me a note sometime, and PLEASE always remember what it's been my mission over the years to impart to each and every one of you:

As my first official act as the new Sultan, I hearby announce that the ruling laid down by the previous Sultan regarding whining still stands!
Seriously, Swag Simply Shouldn't Stop Seeing Sunlight Simply Since Sultans Switch! Sure-Enough Some Super Swag Shall Show Soon!

Okay, I'll be the first to admit that my sense of humor can be a bit sarcastic and goofy, but -- MAN! -- at least first-degree alliteration isn't among my crimes.

Congrats to you too Brad, on the new job.
I started a new job this week as well. This is my first real job in 20 years. I've been self-employed all this time. It's a big change.
